Halloween in Branson

Whether you're looking for frightful fun or a safe place to take the kids trick-or-treating, there's excitement for everyone this Halloween in Branson.

Take out the Family for the afternoon for at Sycamore Creek Family Ranch.

Each October, Halloween is brought to life in Branson with plenty of pumpkins, themed events and spooky festivities. Check out a few of our favorite ways to celebrate Halloween in Branson below:

Pumpkin Patches and Festivals

Have the time of your life at the McKenna Family Farm this fall! McKenna's Farm features a host of harvest-themed activities for the whole family. In addition to an impressive selection of pumpkins, the farm's annual extravaganza includes a three-acre corn maze, hayrides, face painting and an activities area featuring a bounce pillow, pony swings, slides, a hay-bale maze, life-sized gerbil wheels and plenty of homemade goodies.

Packed with plenty more pumpkins, the Harvest Festival held onsite at Still Waters Resort has pumpkin bowling, pumpkin chuckin' contests, hay rides through a magic pumpkin patch, giant inflatables, live music, fall refreshments and more.

Enjoy a carnival-style celebration during the Fall Roundup at Sycamore Creek Family Ranch. A family-friendly, four-acre corn maze, gourd launchers, farm frisbee golf, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, photo ops and furry friends are all a part of the Roundup through the month of October.

Whether you're looking for a place to pick pumpkins or just get in the spooky season, you can find all kinds of weekend fall and Halloween entertainment through October at the Shepherd of the Hills Adventure Park's Pumpkin Fest. The event includes pumpkin painting, a great pumpkin ropes course and rock-climbing wall, a petting zoo, bounce houses and more activities.

Also adding to Branson's lineup of Halloween and fall events, Silver Dollar City's Pumpkins in the City is the perfect way to experience non-frightful fun. You'll find tons of artisans demonstrating their work during the day and an impressive display of thousands of pumpkins aglow in the city's Town Square at night. Please note, no costumes are allowed at Silver Dollar City.

Trick-or-treating

A variety of Branson businesses host safe Halloween trick-or-treating events so kids (and the young at heart) can dress up and gather plenty of sweets. Find all treats and no tricks at these venues:

  • Branson RecPlex - The Branson Parks & Recreation's Halloween hosts an annual BOOnanza at the end of October. The BOOnanza is geared toward families with young kids looking for a safe and fun fall-themed event where you can fill up your bag with candy on the "trick-or-treat" trail or play a fall themed game. Inflatables and a scavenger hunt will also be offered.

Haunted Houses

Next to trick-or-treating, another favorite Halloween tradition is getting spooked at haunted houses. If you prefer a spine-chilling holiday, Branson has a unique house of horror to help you get your scare on!

Open year-round, the Castle of Chaos 5D Adventure is a revolutionary family attraction and must-see in Branson. The action-packed adventure merges a 3D film with heart-pounding motion, special effects and an all-out shooting battle against evil. Think of being caught inside a horror movie-turned-video game.

Haunted Copperhead Mountain Coaster

Shepherd of the Hills went all out this season with their new Haunted Copperhead Mountain Coaster! If you dare to ride, you'll experience a Halloween themed Mountain Coaster ride on Fridays and Saturdays nights, Sept 30th – Oct 29th. Watch out for spooky haunts and decorations as you zoom by on the track.
