A nationally-acclaimed destination for experiencing the beauty and cheer of the holidays, Branson delights visitors of all ages during its annual transformation into America’s Christmas Tree City. Festive activities and attractions fill Branson with holiday fun all season long!

With festivals, parades, millions of lights and more, there's plenty of ways to celebrate the arrival of An Ozark Mountain Christmas in Branson. You'll want to add these must-see holiday attractions to your Branson itinerary this season:

An Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City

Named “America’s Best Theme Park Holiday Event” by USA Today and “The Most Illuminated Park on Earth” by the Travel Channel, Silver Dollar City's An Old Time Christmas festival makes the theme park truly magical at Christmas. Stand in awe at the 6.5 million lights that illuminate the park, enjoy Broadway-style productions such as "A Dickens’ Christmas Carol" and "It’s a Wonderful Life," catch a parade led by Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and more. In 2019, the festival runs from November 2-December 30.

The Polar Express Train Ride

Step into the classic Christmas story written by Chris Van Allsburg as you board The Polar Express at the Branson Scenic Railway this season. Passengers will head out on a 40-mile excursion through the foothills of the Ozarks while snacking on hot chocolate and cookies, visiting with Santa and characters and listening to a reading of the original book. Passengers are encouraged to dress in pajamas, just as the story reads! Tickets for the train ride sell quickly, so be sure to book in advance.

Christmas at Dolly Parton's Stampede

It's not every day you can see a grand cast of performers and 32 horses, a friendly competition between the North and South Pole elves and a living Nativity scene all in one production. Dolly Parton's Stampede is full of excitement, several surprises and even a visit from Santa himself at Christmastime! Plus, you can chow down on dinner while watching the show: a four-course feast centered around country home-cooking is served during the production.

Snowflex Tubing Park at Wolfe Mountain

While this attraction is open year-round, the Snowflex Tubing Park at Wolfe Mountain in Branson certainly adds a special amount of thrill and fun to the holidays! The 400-foot Snowflex tubing hill is made of the same synthetic material that is used in high-performace snow sports. Perfect for an outing with friends and family, the tubing hill can accommodate up to six tubes sliding at the same time. This is a race through the Ozark Mountains you don't want to miss! Wolfe Mountain is also home to the Branson Zipline

Adoration Scene and Parade

Positioned on the bluff above Lake Taneycomo across from the Branson Landing, Branson's Adoration Scene commemorates the Nativity every Christmas. On Sunday, December 8 at 5 p.m., you can join the Branson community in celebrating the lighting ceremony of the Adoration Scene and attend the Adoration Parade in Historic Downtown Branson. The parade features themed floats, marching bands and more.

Titanic Museum Attraction

From November 8-December 31, Branson's Titanic Museum Attraction becomes a ship full of sights, sounds and the joy of the holiday season. Holiday garlands and lights deck the halls of the ship replica, while the attraction's gift shop offers special holiday collectibles and treasures for history lovers as a part of the Titanic's Christmas and Winter Celebration

Also on display during the holidays at the attraction, a limited Downton Abbey Surprise exhibit showcases select costumes from the beloved television series, "Downton Abbey" through December.

A 50-foot Christmas tree in the shopping district's Town Square, holiday lights and decor wow visitors every holiday season. Also a favorite Winter Wonderlanding tradition, the famous Branson Landing Fountains combine light, fire and water in special daily performances to Christmas tunes (weather-permitting). Plus, you can complete your Christmas shopping while strolling and browsing over 100 specialty stores and restaurants.
