Branson is known for having mild and beautiful winters, so when it comes to creating a packing list, we recommend layers. Although we seldom experience heavy snowfall, we occasionally wake up to light dusting or frozen rain. In the morning, then, it's best to have a heavy winter coat, gloves, a winter hat and a car window scraper as temperatures can often be around or below freezing. When the sun starts shining and the temperatures begin to rise, you should be ready to rock and roll with a few lighter layers, especially if walking to and from our stores, shows and attractions are your planned time outside. For the outdoors-men and adventurers, we recommend an extension of activity-specific, layered clothing.
Branson works hard to ensure the safety of our travelers, which means our roads are well prepared for possible winter weather elements. We encourage driving personal vehicles, flying into the Branson Airport, or utilizing one of our many public transportation options.
