There are literally hundreds of fun, kid-friendly things to do in Branson, making it one of the best destinations in the country for a family vacation!

We talk to a lot of folks who are planning their first trip here, as well as frequent visitors who are looking for new ideas. Here’s a look at a getaway itinerary designed to give your family a fun extended weekend in Branson with the whole gang--kids, parents and grandparents included!

Wednesday Evening

Food and Fountains at Branson Landing

Arrive and check into your hotel or resort. After a day of traveling, hit the swimming pool with the kids for a change to relax and play. After your swim, take the family to grab a a bite to eat on Branson Landing. Cap your evening with the awe-inspiring Branson Landing Fountain Spectacular


Silver Dollar City and a Show

Get and early start and spend the day enjoying fun, food and craftsmanship at Silver Dollar City. Grab dinner and then check out the 8 p.m. family-friendly show Legends in Concert Show at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater. Afterward, finish your day with a sweet treat from Andy’s Frozen Custard.


Make a Splash!

Everyone will love spending the day getting wet and wild at White Water outdoor waterpark or the indoor waterparks at Castle Rock or Grand Country resorts. Then, in the late afternoon, take a family stroll on Moonshine Beach or rent a boat from Table Rock State Park Marina for a sunset cruise on Table Rock Lake. For dinner, your trip to Branson won't be complete without a rack of barbecue ribs or one of the tasty burgers from Danna’s


Fun for Everyone

Mom and Dad get a little alone time on a winery tour or maybe even a couples massage at Spa Chateau. Grandma and Grandpa can entertain the kids at the pool and have a little fun spoiling everyone at the candy store, It’s Sugar, on Branson Landing. Then reconvene the family for a buffet lunch at Starvin Marvin’s and shopping at Dick’s Old Time 5 & 10. Mom and Dad take the kids to see the 3:30 p.m. performance of Samson, while Grandma and Grandpa drive north for a tour and tasting at Copper Run Distillery. In the evening, do a little shopping at Tanger Outlets and enjoy dinner at White River Fish House.


Brunch and Tours

Treat everyone to a tasty brunch at Worman House at Big Cedar Lodge, and then plan to check out the Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail Tour at Top of the Rock. In the afternoon, stop by for a tour of the Titanic Museum Attraction. Finally, say goodbye Branson – and promise the kids you’ll bring them back soon!
